Tilikum Center for Retreats & Outdoor Ministries

George Fox University | Potlach 2008

Tilikum's Mission

Tilikum exists as a ministry of George Fox University to produce Christ-centered change in the lives of children, youth, adults, and the university community through innovative educational strategies in an outdoor setting.

About Potlatch

The term Potlatch is a Pacific Northwest Native American word which describes a tradition of inviting special guests to join in a time of celebration and a gift-giving feast. We host our annual Potlatch to share with donors and guests the ministry that takes place each year and share our dreams for the future.

Trails & Treasures

This year we will be - on Matthew 13:44 which states that "The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field..." We will be sharing the different trails or journeys that have converged through Tilikum over the years, and how the fields and forests of Tilikum have been the stage upon which people have found the treasure of faith in Jesus Christ.
